As a youngster, Lucas starred in the GTHL with the Toronto Marlboros serving as a captain of many championship teams and winning several awards.

As one of the premier skaters in the province possessing world class skills, he went on to play in the Ontario Hockey League with the North Bay Centennials, Oshawa Generals and Kitchener Rangers. He also played professional hockey in Germany, England, Scotland and the United States.

Lucas has coached and taught Hi-Performance Power Skating, Speed, Skills and Fitness Development Programs around the world.
A university graduate, he currently conducts Private, Personal Small Group, Specialized Training Sessions for players from Novice through to Pro.
